Alice Mae Hill was born September 15,1949 to the late Daniel and Roxanne Rascoe Hill in Bertie County. She died on October 11, 2012 at Roanoke Landing Nursung Home.

Alice touched the hearts and soul of many. She was a special person to those that knew her. Alice brightened many faces with her keen wisdom and special smile as only Alice could. Her nieces Irena Barnes, Mary McCray, and Lisa Hill Perry cared for their Aunt Alice during her time of sickness.

Alice leaves to cherish her memories three sisters- Mary Hill Windborne and Wanda Grimes- both of Williamston, Annie Hill Springs- Huntersville, NC; brother- Randolph Hill, Newark, NJ, aunt- Betsy Hill, Windsor, NC, nieces- Irena Barnes and Mary McCray- both of Plymouth, Lisa Hill Perry- Edenton, NC, great nephew- Dasheen Perry- Plymouth, NC, great nieces- Dashevia Perry, Latisha Windborne, and Nykia Bowser, and a host of other relatives and friends.
