Alice Elizabeth Mann Rouson, was born December 13, 1934 to the late William and Martha Moore Mann, she was called home to glory on October 10, 2014.

She was a member of Second Zion Grove Baptist Church. She was a strong-willed, and determined women, short in stature but her stride and attitude made her the tallest person in the room. She worked hard at keeping her family united, communicating, and loving on another.

She will be remembered as a loving mother, an affectionate grandmother, a caring sister, and a concerned aunt.

Surviving are her five children: Ronald Rouson of Plymouth, NC, Joyce(James) Patterson of Syracuse, NY, Brenda Rouson of Mt. Vernon, NY, Robin(Eileen) Rouson of Syracuse, NY, and Gail Michelle Rouson of Mt. Vernon, NY; Nine grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, two sister-in-laws: Jean Mann and Carolyn Mann, two brother-in-laws: James Frances and Anthony Rowson. She came from a family of fourteen. Alice will also keep watch over her brothers and sisters: Willie(late Edward) White of GA, Gloria(Demous) Bess, Othello(lee) Fitzgerald, Walter(Yvonne) Mann, Robert(Virginia) Mann, and Lonnie(late Janice Mann) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Alice was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.

Funeral service were 1:00 pm Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Toodle's Funeral Home with Rev. Hubert Judon, officiating. Burial followed in Macedonia Cemetery.
