Alice Elizabeth McNair was born in Washington County on April 1, 1949. She was the daughter of the late John Henry and Katie Blanche Moore. God sent his angels to guide Alice home on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. We rejoice at Heaven's Gain.

Alice attended the Washington County School System. She worked as a Chemical cleaning Specialist for Pro-Clean for years. Alice was a devout, dedicated Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She was also a faithful member of Lily of the Valley Missionary Baptist Church, Plymouth, NC.

Alice leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, De. Warren McNair of Plymouth,NC, one daughter, Nicole Young; two sons, Cleandrew McNair, Antron McNair all of Plymouth, NC, and one stepson, Henry Gross(Bridget) of Wildomar, CA; five grandchildren; Briana McNair, Cedric Young Jr., Christian Young, Takyah McNair, Tyon McNair; five step grandchildren, Jasmine Gross, Zechariah Gross, Gabbriella Gross, Beafria Gross and Charles (Janet) Gross; three step great grandchildren, Anthony Booth, Corrin Booth, and Samuel Gross; six brothers, John Henry Moore, Eli Moore, Abraham Moore (Gloria), Lewis Moore (Panella), and Leroy Moore (Gloria all of Plymouth, NC; two sisters Shirley Biggs and Elaine Moore of Plymouth, NC; special family members, Edward Thompson, Alex Thompson, and Keala Thompson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She had three brothers and one sister that preceded her, William Benjamin Moore, Robert Steward Moore, Alexander Moore and Carrie Dell Moore Norman, all of Plymouth, NC.

She will truly be missed by those who were touched by her wonderful and beautiful spirit.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM, at Long Ridge Missionary Baptist Church, Plymouth, NC, with Rev. Dr. General M. James, Pastor and Rev. Jasper Arnold, Officiating. Burial followed at Moore Cemetery on McNair Road.
