Dorothy Goodman was born on May 5, 1938 to Willie Bell and Isolene Boston. Dorothy was called to rest on October 15, 2013, at her home 29-445 Highway 64, Jamesville North Carolina. She joined Uniontown Church of Christ at an early age as did most of her sister and brothers. Dorothy married Chester Goodman the love of her life and to this union four children were born. She left the pineywood area and relocated in Brooklyn, New York, where she started own business as a beautician. She was one of the finest in Brooklyn. She leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted husband, Chester Goodman of the home, sons Clarence Goodman (Bonita) of Jamesville, North Carolina, Clinton Goodman (Stacey) of Brooklyn, New York, daughter Beverly Tanoh(Stephen) of Bronx, New York, son Darius Goodman of the home, brother Bobbie Boston, sister Denise Boston of Charlotte, North Carolina., sisters-in-law Mary Cooper and Rebecca Barrett of Plymouth, North Carolina, a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren: and a host of cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services were 3:00PM October 19, 2013 at Uniontown Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) with Bishop Daniel Boston, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in Uniontown Church Cemetery.
