Gloria Boston Moore was born May 3, 1951 in Plymouth, NC. She was the daughter of James Boston and Virgie Biggs Boston. She passed away on June 30, 2016.

Gloria attended the public schools in Washington County. She worked at Plymouth Garment Factory, Little Man Restaurant, and the Country Corner Store.

Gloria became a member of Long Ridge Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. She was a faithful member on the Long Ridge Usher Board. She was united in holy matrimony to Leroy Moore on May 18, 1968.

Gloria was a devoted wife and mother. She worked faithfully in her community driving the sick to doctor appointments and grocery shopping.

Gloria leaves to cherish her memories, her husband- Leroy Moore; three daughters- Renea Wilkins (Kenneth), Virgie Moore, Chenal Moore; one son- Leroy Moore, Jr.; six grandchildren- Jessica Wilkins, Kenneth Wilkins, Jr., Yvette Wilkins, Vincent Hill, Ryan Isis Moore; one great grandchild- Natasha Wilkins; three brothers- Milton Boston (Otassa), William H. Boston (Paula), Ricky Boston (Maggie); one sister- Ola Faye Johnson (Herbert); and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were 1:00PM Tuesday July 5, 2016 at Long Ridge Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. General James, Pastor, officiating. Burial followed in Uniontown Church Cemetery.
