Hillary "Tuff" Spruill was born February 23, 1938 to the late Lossie Blount and Leamon Spruill in Plymouth. He departed this life on November 10, 2018 in Raleigh, NC.

Funeral services were Friday November 16, 2018 at New Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Harry White, pastor, Pastor Carlton Spruill,eulogist. Burial followed in Ellis Lee Cemetery, Plymouth.
