Jimmie Hill was born January 21, 1944 to the late Annie Watson Hill and Isaiah Hill of Roper, NC. He departed this life on Saturday September 15, 2012.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his siblings Matthew Hill, Ella R. Hill, Asbury Hill, Thomas Hill, and Joe Nathan.

He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter- Marra K. Lucas- New York, two brothers- Russell Watson- Brooklyn, NY., Lester Lee Hill- Roper, NC two sisters- Telora Mignon Simpson- Durham, NC,
Vinita "Sue" Hill-Plymouth, NC, three aunts- Hildred Bowen- Roper,NC, Pearline Rodgers- Manhattan, NY., Mary Wilkins- Roper, NC, two grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held 12:00PM Saturday September 22, 2012 at Union Chapel Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) with Vice Bishop Daniel Gilliam officiating. Burial followed in Watson Memorial Garden, Roper.
