Joyce Chenelle Fields-Green was born to Rev. Sammy and Chevelle Fields on March 3, 1973; she departed this life on Tuesday, August 28, 2012.
She joined First Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and sang in the youth choir.
Joyce received her education through Washington County Public School system and later attended Elizabeth City State University in Elizabeth City, NC.
Joyce leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband, Nathan Green; two daughters, Brianna and Amara Fields of the home; her parents, Sammy and Chevelle Fields, a step-mother, Tavonda Jordan-Fields; a sister, Victoria Fields of Plymouth, NC; three brothers, Sammy Fields, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; Keith Fields of Winston-Salem, NC; and Darrell Fields of Plymouth, NC; a step-sister, Yolanda Harrell of Camden, NC; a step-brother, William Jordan of Suffolk, VA; two grandparents, Jeraldine Davenport of Roper, NC and Alice Fields of Raleigh, NC; four nieces and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
