Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Skinner was born to the late James Brothers and Maggie Hudson on May 25, 1936 in Perquimans County, NC. She passed peacefully on May 24, 2021 at Lucy Corr Nursing Home in Chesterfield, VA. She leaves to cherish her memories her children Maurica Felton of Chester, VA, Vanessa McClendy and Wonda Foreman both of Hertford, NC, Eric Skinner of Baltimore, MD, James Skinner of Roper, NC, William I. Skinner Jr. and Ronald Skinner both of Statesville, NC. Her siblings James Brothers of Baltimore, MD, Charlie Brothers of Edenton, NC, Joyce James, Doris Felton, Levi Brothers, and Murray Brothers all of Hertford, NC.

Funeral services will be 11:00AM Saturday May 29, 2021 at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Hertford with Rev. John Shannon , officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery in Hertford, NC
