Michael Tyrone Moore, Sr., son of the late Hal Moore, Sr. and Lorraine W. Moore, was born on February 9, 1956 in Brooklyn, NY. Michael departed this life on Tuesday August 11, 2015 at Roanoke Rivers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mike was raised in the Pineywood's Community until he moved to Brooklyn, NY and later to Easton, PA., then returning home to Pineywood's to "take of his loving mother."

Mike was loved by all whom he came in contact with. Even though his first impression was kind of rough and scary, when you got to know Mike, you loved him.

Mike now leaves to cherish his memories, his loving mother, Lorraine Woolard Moore, his children, Lisa Hunter (Alexander)-Fayetteville, NC., Cynthia Denise Little- Fayetteville, NC., Michael Tyrone Moore, Jr.- Norfolk, VA., Sean Moore- Easton, PA., Marshall Moore- Charleston, SC.; brothers- Ellis Moore (DeAnna)- Anaheim Hills, CA., Hal Moore, Jr.(Joy)- Easton, PA., David Moore (Laura)- Chicago, IL., Jerry Moore (Janice)- Brooklyn, NY., Gregory Norman (Lisa)- Easton, PA.; sisters- Cynthia Everett- NY/NC., Beverly James (Christopher)- Jamesville, NC.; eight grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, Michael, Greg, Tony, Annette, Shanequa, Kevin, Eshonda, Chris, Christina, etc. (the list goes on and on). All of them loved Uncle Mike and cousin Mike. Lena Williams- Charleston, SC., Lisa Creighton- Virginia Beach, VA., Freeman and Eldress Annie James and Family.

Funeral services were 2:00PM Sunday August 16, 2015 at Uniontown Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) with Bishop Daniel Boston, Sr., officiating. Burial followed in Uniontown Church Cemetery.
