Paul Ernest Duncan was born November 30, 1937 in Denmark, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Alfred Duncan and Zula Riley. God called him home on August 10, 2015 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

He was a carpenter employed by JMR Concrete. He retired in 1983 due to work related injury. In 1996 he then moved to Plymouth, North Carolina and became a member of Second Zion Grove Baptist Church. He married Carolyn Duncan who preceded him in death then later married Rosa Duncan.

He leaves behind loving memories to cherish to his wife, Rosa Duncan of Plymouth, NC.; sons- Paul Anthony Duncan- Philadelphia, PA., Curtis Duncan (Carlene)- Long Island, NY.; daughters- Tracy McCray- Fort Lauderdale, FLA., Carol Crosland (Kenneth)- PA., Cynthia Davis- Brooklyn, NY.; sisters- Martha Brown- Charleston, SC., Janie Washington- Queens, NY.; brothers- James Duncan (Carlstine)- Long Island, NY., Elijah Duncan (Mary)- Brooklyn, NY.; sisters-in-law- Eloise Duncan- Long Island, NY., Annette McCullough- New Jersey, Gail McCullough- New Jersey, Ruby Martin (Martin)- Virginia, Joann McCullough White (Gary); brothers-in-law- Stanley Lee McCullough (Mary)-Maryland, Larry McCullough- Virginia; fourteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers in death, Zula Edwards, Mary Quiller, Alfred Duncan, and Thomas Duncan.

Funeral services were 12:00PM Saturday August 15, 2015 at Second Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Hubert Judon, officiating.
Burial followed in Second Zion Grove Cemetery.
