Pauline Clagon, daughter of the late Willie Clagon and Maggie Webb Clagon McCray was born on February 2, 1932 in Washington County. Pauline departed this life on March 22, 2015,at Roanoke Landing Nursing Center. She was 83 years old. Pauline in her younger days loved to sew, and do her sister Elmo's hair in her own unique way.

She was a loving aunt, great aunt, sister and more., she leaves to cherish her memories four brothers, Leaman Clagon, William McCray, Buster McCray (all of Plymouth, NC, and Haywood McCray (Merry Hill, NC); two sisters, Elmo Clagon of the home and Mable McCray of Williamston, NC; one sister-in-law Mary Barnes McCray of Plymouth, NC; three nephews, Elbert McCray(Rachel) of Williamston, NC, Willie Moore (Alice) Greenville, NC, Herbert Moore (Valerie)Plymouth, NC; five nieces Ruth Randolph, dedicated caregiver of the home, Mary Jones of Raleigh, NC, Daisy Maddox, Janie Fuller, Beatrice Simpson (all of Roper, NC) and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins. Proceeding her in death , three brothers Eugene McCray, Raymond McCray, Walter Clagon & one sister Willie Mae Clagon Staton.

Funeral Services were held Friday, March 27, 2015, at Toodles's Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Stanley Hicks, Sr. ,officiating. Burial followed in Toodle's Cemetery.
