Brother Ralph Boston was born September 20, 1929 to the late Robert and Annie Modell Cordon Boston. He was called home to be with the Lord on September 25, 2013 at Roanoke Landing Rehab Center, Plymouth after years of declining health.

Brother Ralph joined Uniontown Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) at an early age as did most of his young peers. He attended school in Dardens, NC. After years of courtship, Brother Ralph married Bessie Louise Smith and to this union two children were born.

Ralph left the Free Union area and relocated in Bronx and Queens Long Island, NY where he grew a powerful business called Boston & Boston Floor Scraping Business.

Ralph leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted wife- Bessie Boston of the home -Jamesville, NC; sons- Todd Travis Boston (Hope)- Woodhaven, NJ, Jerry Whitehurst- Ohio; daughters- Lisa Harmon (Desman)- Jamaica Queens, NY., June Ragin- Bronx, NY., Voronica Whitehurst- Long Island, NY; god daughter- Joyce Ann James- Jamesville, NC; sister Eldress Mattie Moody Graddy- FLA., and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
