Raymond McCray, son of the late Maggie Webb Clagon McCray and Haywood McCray was born March 6, 1952 in Washington County.

Raymond better known by his family and friends as "Bow Wow" departed this life on May 26, 2013 at Washington County Hospital. He was 61 years old. He attended the public schools of Washington County.

Raymond was a loving brother, uncle, friend and much more. He enjoyed life, people and was always full of joy. Raymond loved riding his bicycle, mowing lawns and fishing.

He leaves to cherish his memory, four brothers- Haywood McCray, Jr.- Merry Hill, NC., Leamon Clagon, William McCray and Buster McCray all of Plymouth; four sisters- Mable McCray, Willie Mae Staton, Pauline Clagon, Elmo Clagon all of Plymouth and a host of nieces, nephews family and friends.

A very special friend, Virginia Moore and two brothers, Eugene McCray and Walter Clagon, preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held 1:00PM Saturday June 1, 2013 at Toodle's Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Silas Norman officiating. Burial followed in Spruill Eternal Rest Home Cemetery (Sandhill) Plymouth.
