Obituary

Rebenia Ann Swain, the daughter of Mr. Roy Rodgers Swain and Mrs. Ida J. Swain, was born on June 3, 1967 in Washington County. She departed this life on Monday, September 16, 2013 at Washington County Hospital in Plymouth.

Rebenia attended Plymouth High School, where she graduated in 1986. After graduating from Plymouth High School she moved to Raleigh, NC to continue her education at Shaw University. She was employed with the company RH Donnelly where she served sixteen years with the company. She continued her education and received her degree in the Medical Field as a Medical Technician. Rebenia's faith has been life-long. She confirmed her faith through water baptism, and received the precious gift of the Holy Spirit. She was faithful member of Bethel Church of Christ.
She loved to be with her family and she loved to cook. She found beauty in all of God's creations; she was a woman who enjoyed nature.

Rebenia leaves behind two sons: Antron Javon Swain (Jay Boy)- Roper, NC, Terrell LaShawn Swain- Raleigh, NC; parents: Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rodgers Swain- Roper, NC.; four sisters: Denise Johnson (Sam), Carol Williams (Jackie)- Raleigh, NC., Darlene Swain, Marlene Chance (Greg)- Roper, NC.; four brothers: Roger L. Swain (Carolyn)- Raleigh, NC., Craig T. Swain (Peggy)- Columbia, NC., Roger Chesson (Leigh)- Plymouth, NC., Glen Chesson (Shamesa)- Sterling, VA., and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a special friend from Raleigh named Blanca.

Funeral services were 1:00PM Saturday September 21, 2013 at Bethel Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ). Burial followed in Chesson Memoorial Cemetery, Roper.
