Ronnie Raheem Pettiford was born July 9, 1990 in Williamston, NC to Ronnie Lee Simmons and Louise Patricia Simmons. He departed his life on May 9, 2016.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his grandparents Delores Claretta Pettiford, Ronald Pettiford, Clarence Simmons and Hattie Simmons.
He graduated from Jamesville High School in 2008, and was voted "class clown" by his peers. Ronnie was employed at Jamesville Mini-Mart, where he earned the respect and trust of his boss to such a degree that they referred to him as a son and brother.
While Ronnie enjoyed fishing with his dad, cooking and sharing recipes with his mom, giving advice to his sister Iesha, joking with his big brothers Warren and Kevin, and taking his little brother Nicholas to school, the greatest love of his life was his daughter, Layla. She was his heart, and the apple of his eye.
