Obituary

Samone Senuray Rouson, daughter of the late Shirley Jean Webb and David Rouson of Plymouth, NC was born July 8, 1971 in Portsmouth, VA. She departed this life on Monday July 4, 2016 peacefully at her home in Roper, NC.

Samone joined Shiloh Church of Christ(Disciples of Christ) at an early age. She attended school in Washington County. Years later she decided to return to school and enroll in Martin County Community College and received her GED and her CNA Certification. She gained employment with Roanoke Landing Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Plymouth, NC for a short while and later with Cypress Manor in Roper, NC.

Samone was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece and friend. She never met a stranger. She was smart, vibrant and the life of the party. She was also a very outspoken person. She loved to make people laugh and have a good time. She loved the Lord; it was nothing to call or just converse with her and she would drop a scripture on you.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters- Tempestt Monique Rouson- Roper, NC and April Renee' Rouson- Raleigh, NC.; son- De'Andre Lamar Rouson- Roper, NC.; sister- Yolanda Y. Rouson- Plymouth, NC; brother- Eric L. Rouaon (Natasha)- Raleigh, NC; six grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Special friends whom she loved dearly: Lisa Rhines, Mary Hopkins Midgett, James Earl Carter, Shamel Jernigan, Diane and Gwen Norman, Kiara Harris and Wendy Thomas.

Funeral services were 1:00PM Monday July 11, 2016 at Temple of Christ Church with Bishop Avery Barnes, Pastor, officiating. Burial followed in Shiloh Memorial Garden Cemetery.
