Tametrius "Tammy" Clayton Pugh, the daughter of Gloria Clayton and Clifford Clayton, was born September 13, 1965 at Pungo district Hospital, Belhaven, NC. Her earthly shift ended October 18, 2016 at her home in Swan Quarter, NC.

Tametrius attended public schools in Hyde County and graduated from Mattamuskeet High School in 1983. Following her graduation, she moved to Raleigh, NC and eventually lived abroad as a military spouse with husband Jeffrey Beckwith. After settling back home in North Carolina, she became a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked private duty up until her health became a priority.

Tametrius became a member of Weeping Mary Disciple of Christ Church, Scranton, NC at an early age. Later she became a faithful member of Jobe's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Swan Quarter, NC. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt.

Tametrius leaves to cherish her memories: her parents- Gloria Clayton and Clifford Clayton, Jr.; daughters- Jaasmine Beckwith and Tamara Beckwith; grandchildren- Naila Davis, Zarion Davis, Torrianna Satterwaite; brothers- Ronnie Clayton (Sherri), Sean Clayton, Christopher Clayton; sisters- Dorothy "Ann" Newton, Faydra McNair (Jeffrey), Monica McNeal; paternal grandmother- Helen K. Clayton; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, husband- Sherrod Pugh, special friend- Calvin Lovick and other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death are son- Jeffrey Beckwith, Jr., brother- Robert E. Harris, nephew- Martaze Harris, maternal grandparents- Alice Howard Chadwick and John Elisha Chadwick, paternal grandfather- Clifford Clayton, Sr.

Funeral services were 12:00 PM October 26 2016 at Jobe's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Swan Quarter, NC, with Bishop Levi Murray, Senior Pastor, officiating. Burial followed in Clayton Cemetery, Sladesville, NC.
