William Earl Perry, Sr. was born December 20, 1947 to the late Lucille Jones in Washington County, NC.

William attended Washington County Union School. He was employed with Weyerhaeuser Forestry and Logging Co. for 15 years.

William is survived by his son William Perry, Jr. (Melanie) of Plymouth, NC; one daughter Tometrius Perry of Plymouth, NC. He has seven beautiful grandchildren Dasheen Perry; Dashevia Perry; Jynekia Perry: Quadasia Hooks: Rakeen Hooks; Rah'leek Hooks; Hannah Perry, and six great grandchildren. Two sisters Catherine Williams (Wallace) Plymouth, NC; Lorraine Jones of Plymouth, NC, ; three brothers Benjamin Jones (Sharon) of Williamston, NC; James Jones of Washington, NC,; Thomas Jones (Emma) of Plymouth, NC,. A host of nieces; nephew and other relatives and fiends, He was preceded in death by one sister Shirley Jones.

Funeral services were held at Toodle's Funeral Home, at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 12, 2014, with Brother Emmanuel Small, Officiating. Burial followed Toodle's Cemetery, Plymouth, NC.
